Located in the heart of the region Entre-Deux-Mer, the Château Canet has been in the possession of the Large family for several generations. On the estate 44 Ha of vineyards are cultivated and the
following grape-varieties are farmed: Sauvignon, Sémillon, Muscadelle for the white grapes; Merlot, Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon for the red grapes.

Today, Bernard Large manages the family estate in the heart of the vineyards of Bordeaux with considerable know-how. He is applying methods of organic farming without the use of chemical products (in compliance with the standards of the organization ECOCERT – Official Body empowered by the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture). The philosophy behind this return to the origins of farming is to
respect nature’s rhythms and natural biological processes and to vinify in a traditional way to produce genuine wines.
